Michael Mckee II

Operations Technician

I grew up in Lubbock Texas and graduated from Monterey High School in 1997. Shortly thereafter, in the spring of 1999, I enlisted in the US Air Force. I served as an Air Transportation journeyman where I was responsible for the loading and unloading of cargo and passengers from military cargo aircraft. I was stationed at Travis AFB in Northern California for all 6 years of my enlistment and deployed numerous times in support of Operation Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom.

At the end of my enlistment I took advantage of the GI Bill and received a BA in Geography with a minor in environmental studies from Texas Tech University in 2010. My career so far has centered around Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with employment at places like Lubbock 911 where I was responsible for managing the map data that dispatchers used to Apple where I was able to use GIS to increase the effectiveness of the Apple maps app. I also spent two years teaching Geography and History to high school students in Tahoka Texas where I also coached football, basketball, and baseball.
While pursuing my degree at Texas Tech, I met and married my beautiful wife Melody. Melody was born and raised in La Grange and in 2015 she received an offer to teach social studies here which is what brought us to this great community that I now proudly call home. We have two daughters, Harper and Sutton, and enjoy taking advantage of all the fun activities that are so close to us here in La Grange.

I’m excited to be a part of this great company and the opportunity to find ways to integrate my experience with geography and environmental studies into the applications that algae has for everyone. I believe in everything that AlgEternal Technologies stands for and look forward to being a part of its growth.
